| The staff at
the Clinics is very accommodating and we do our best
to provide a professional service within a family
and friendly atmosphere. We welcome children and provide
toys for them in the waiting room and animal stickers
for the well behaved! You will often find the Jackson children at
the surgery, along with their dog, Bingo, as well
as other staff members' pets. |

| Many of the staff has been with
us for a number of years and some of the younger ones
started their careers here. We are all pet owners
with a dedication to animal care without being too
sentimental (this can be a disadvantage as not all
animal stories have a happy ending). |

|
| We have a good mix of ages and
experiences with special interests in cats, dogs,
pedigree breeding, puppy walking, cat and dog shows,
animal rehoming and rescue
charities. |

and voluntary jobs rarely become available at the
Jackson Veterinary Clinic. |

Stuart Jackson qualified from
Glasgow University Veterinary School in 1981 and has
been the principal of a veterinary practice since January
1987. His special interests are orthopaedic surgery and
dermatology. He has a Masters Degree (MSc)
in Animal Parasitology and post graduate certificates in
General Practice awarded by the RCVS and the University
of Middlesex.

Ed
Jones joined the practice
on the 5th of October 2009 as full time associate veterinary
surgeon. Ed qualified from Cambridge in 2004 and has worked
in Dorset and Yorkshire. He has a Cocker called Woody and
a cat called Charlie. |

Zoe Jackson has been a practice
manager since 1987. Together, Zoe
and Stuart Jackson have 5 cats and (now only) one dog (all
rescued) and two daughters. Zoe
has a BSc in Zoology and an MSc
in Animal Parasitology. |

Megan Agar (veterinary nurse) started work
at for us in September 1997. Megan works for us on four
days per week. mostly doing surgical nursing and other administration
work. |

Adrianna Classey
(Registered veterinary nurse) joined us as a
full time nurse in November 2010. She is studying for an
MSc in Animal Physiotherapy. |

Emma Kearsey (Registered
veterinary nurse) joined the practice
in October 2010 to help with nursing and reception duties
in the afternoons and evenings. |
|

Michelle High joined us on
a voluntary basis. She is employed as a receptionist and has
completed her pre-veterinary nursing course. |
|

Lana Turner (receptionist and nurse)
is an experienced dog groomer.
She owns, shows and breeds Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
She has been with us for over 17 years. |
|

Anne Madden (receptionist) has been with
the practice since 1984. She is a top Birman
cat breeder and owns "more than 10" pedigree champions.
Anne is our evening receptionist. |
