Some of the drugs listed below are not routinely stocked.

You will save 16% (approx) on the cost of your dog’s spay operation by having the operation performed before the first season (some health and breed restrictions apply to this “offer”). By doing so, you will be preventing some serious illnesses in older age.

Here is an interesting fact - the price to spay a 25kg dog is £121.67 - to perfom non-elective surgery on the same dog for the same length of time costs £402.19 (Dec 2007).

All patients on continual treatment with a Prescription Only Medicine (POM-V) require an examination by a veterinary surgeon at the JVC at least every 6 months. This not only fulfills our legal obligations and RCVS guidelines, but is very important as far as our patients are concerned. There is a small charge for this examination. The only exception to this rule is for repeat prescriptions for flea products (all of which are POM-V), when we require your pet to have an annual examination (in this case, there is no charge as long as no clinical reason is given for the examination).

Until the 30th of October 2008, we will issue prescriptions FREE of charge.
